Had its moments， but。。。Had its moments， but overall the characters did not feel well-developed or consistent。 Lottie allowed her friend/boss to walk all over her for years， but was a sassy spitfire who challenged the rich domineering Huxley？ The newborn class scene was priceless， however。

Meghan Quinn is for sure making her way into my top authors。 Such a great （& spicy） read。 The characters definitely frustrated me sometimes， which was definitely just their character traits but I hate plot lines that focus on miscommunication。 I did really like this book though and will be reading the spin off！！

Not as good as expected， I was expecting more bec of all the reviews I read。 But anyways， I enjoyed it， the banter was good， the spice was good as well so there’s that 🤭Huxley’s humble side was very much a plus point， his POV was what I liked about the book。 However， Lottie was kinda confusing to me， I didn’t quite get her character hence why I didn’t enjoy the book as I expected to。 Both of their siblings were fun tho😸
